中水荣成钢丝绳厂始建于1976年，是中国农业发展集团总公司直属中型金属制品加工企业，是中国最大的渔用钢丝绳生产厂家。本厂地处交通便利畅达的山东省荣成市石岛管理区，其中石岛港是国家一类对外开放港口，可与国内外各大港口直航，距离威海机场30公里，烟台机场120公里，青岛机场230公理；经威海、烟台、青岛乘火车可直达全国，乘飞机可飞往世界各地。
　　 本厂主要产品有各种规格的热镀锌、光面钢丝绳、钢绞线、回火轮胎胎圈钢丝、铝绞线钢芯、光缆钢丝、渔网钢丝、塑管钢丝、大棚钢丝及各种商品钢丝、铁丝、钢带等，年综合生产能力20000吨，产品主要销往山东、辽宁、河北、江苏、天津等省市，并出口东南亚、美国、西非、日本、韩国、中东等国家和地区。
